At Venterra, the start of a new year normally means gearing up to have a blast during our annual Kickoff Parties, but this year we shook things up and got back together in person for our first-ever Venterra Excellence Awards!
To squeeze in as many good times as we could, our onsite 2023 Venterra Excellence Awards (or VEAs), were held as four separate events at Dave & Buster’s locations in Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, and Orlando, and all four of the celebrations were great examples of our Leader Promise to “make time to have fun and celebrate success!”
Our teams got creative to embrace the VEA’s “Work Hard, Play Hard” theme by showing up with group costumes that included Pac-Man, minions, referees, and more. Each event started with a welcome presentation and an awards ceremony recognizing promotions and outstanding performance in 2022. Following the awards, our teams enjoyed some great music and food, and the afternoon was all about embracing their competitive side with video games and a networking scavenger hunt!
