Movers for Moms & Shadowbrooke helped make Mothers Day a little extra special!
Every spring, through their Movers for Moms program, the moving company Two Men and a Truck, collects donations for women in need across the country. The donated items, which range from personal products to pillows and blankets to clothing, are delivered to women’s and family shelters around Mothers Day. The donations help provide hundreds of moms staying in these local domestic abuse or homeless shelters with essentials to help them get back on their feet and feel a little extra love on their special day.
The team at Shadowbrooke Apartments definitely made their mothers proud and showed that Venterra Cares by participating in the program this year! Donations were gathered from employees and residents alike, and it turns out that when it comes to moms, there’s a lot of love to give! In addition to donations pouring in for this incredible cause, Shadowbrooke’s waste and recycling removal company, Waste Retriever, stepped up to do their part by donating 25 pizzas for the resident event at the community’s leasing office.
