Venterra gives out cash prizes for winners throughout the year and for each idea that is submitted, the employee’s name gets entered into a drawing for the chance to win $2,000 or a trip for two including airfare, 3 nights of accommodations, a rental car and $750 cash! This year, the winner is going to New York City! Grand Prize winners from prior year contests have won trips to Banff, Niagara Falls, and Vancouver.
Not only are ideas encouraged and rewarded, they get implemented. Our goal is to implement all winning suggesting within 9 months. So far this year, we’ve received 125 “better ways” and it’s great to see so many employees being able to positively change their own work environment and their customer’s living experience through our “Better Way” initiative.
