Venterra Canada Office Named One of the 2023 Best Workplaces™ for Inclusion

For the second year in a row, the Great Place to Work® Institute has named our Canada office one of the 2023 Best Workplaces™ for Inclusion based on the feedback our colleagues provided in their Annual Employee Satisfaction Survey!

The Great Place to Work Institute®’s annual survey is the most extensive workplace study in the world. The findings of the Canada survey, reflecting the perspectives of more than 500,000 employees nationwide, underwent analysis to identify organizations deserving recognition on industry and demographic-specific Best Workplace™ lists. We are thrilled to once again have our Canadian office’s results place us among the Best Workplaces™ for Inclusion.

The most recent Canada survey results revealed that 96% of our team members consider Venterra a great workplace. The positive feedback resulted in our receiving our third “Certification” from Canada Great Place to Work® and made us eligible for consideration for the prestigious Best Workplace™ award.

To rank on the list, at least 90% of an organization’s team members had to indicate they feel they are treated fairly regardless of personal characteristics such as gender, ethnicity, age, or sexual orientation, and the “best” designation is based on colleague responses to inclusion-related Trust Index statements.

The below represents our Canada team members’ most recent top responses in terms of fairness in the workplace:

“This award holds special significance to us due to our dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion,” said Venterra CEO, John Foresi. “Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where every Venterra colleague is excited to bring their authentic self to work. Recognitions like this one are the direct result of the efforts of team members who truly understand the power of an inclusive, people-centric company culture.”

“Filling Venterra offices and communities with individuals from a wide range of cultures and industries continues to be an important part of driving innovation at all levels of the organization, and having our inclusive culture acknowledged again based on positive feedback from our own team members is particularly meaningful,” added Venterra Chairman, Andrew Stewart. “We’re fortunate to be part of a work environment that celebrates and embraces diversity, leveraging its power to ignite innovative and fresh business ideas while delivering an industry-leading experience for residents and colleagues.”

Our Canada & US offices have been recognized multiple times by the Great Place to Work® Institute in the past. Additional 2023 awards for our Canada office include Best Workplaces™ For Mental Wellness, Best Workplaces™ for Professional Development, Best Workplaces™ for Today’s Youth, Best Workplaces™ in Real Estate & Property Development, and we were named one of the overall Best Workplaces™ in Canada.
