In celebration of National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day and National Pet Month we made adopting a pet sweet and easy for Venterra residents again this year!
Being in the people business has some great perks, and having a chance to interact with the pets they own is definitely high on the list. Although our communities are home to more than 15,000 furry residents, there are still countless amazing animals waiting for the perfect pet parent to adopt them.
To help get them into the right homes, all Venterra communities waived pet deposits again for new pets added to our leases from April 20th until National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day on April 30th! To ensure maximum impact, both new and existing residents were encouraged to take advantage of the two-week long promotion. And, as in previous years, we were excited to have our residents enthusiastically share photos of their new furry friends with us.
At the conclusion of this year’s National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day event, we successfully placed 205 pets into loving homes throughout the Venterra portfolio!
