Memorial Day 2021 is an opportunity for us to reflect and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Given that the Venterra portfolio of offices and communities includes a number of veterans and service members, the day is an especially meaningful one for us. Our team members will be enjoying a long weekend including a well-deserved day off for the holiday, providing a great opportunity to remember the men and women who have sacrificed their lives in the name of our freedom.
While we all celebrate the holiday in our own way, it’s also important that we have an understanding of what the day is all about and who it honors. Prepare for the unofficial start of summer and your weekend festivities by taking a few minutes to dive into some Memorial Day history!
