Our Houston Better Living Managers teamed up recently to volunteer together at The Beacon in Houston, TX!
The Beacon, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing for and empowering homeless men and women in the Houston area, offers services such as free clothing, showers, free hygiene items, laundry, and more to over 400 individuals in need.
By dedicating their eight paid volunteer hours to The Beacon’s Day Center, our Houston Better Living Managers contributed in a big way to The Beacon’s mission of providing those it serves with a pathway out of homelessness.
Our Venterra Cares program provides our team members with eight paid hours each year to volunteer and participate in the service activities of their choice. The partnership we’ve created with VolunteerMatch makes connecting with local charities easy, so employees can find and engage in the causes and organizations that they find the most meaningful.
