We were recently honored to have been recognized by The Houston Chronicle as a Top Workplace. We’re proud to have landed in spot #26 of 50 in our size category along with winning a Special Award for engaging employees in the creation of new ideas.
In true Houston Chronicle fashion, the Top Workplaces awards ceremony held in downtown Houston at the Hilton Americas was an amazing event and the Venterra crew who was in attendance had a blast!
The team had a plaque announcing our accomplishment waiting for them at their table when they arrived. Afterwards they enjoyed a fantastic meal with great service, along with several speeches including a keynote by Southwest Airlines Senior VP of Culture and Communication, Ginger Hardage (who also treated attendees to a flight voucher!) Hardage’s speech likely rang true to many of the top ranking companies in attendance as she stressed the need to treat customers like family, told stories about employees getting silly from time to time, and highlighted the importance of allowing them the freedom to create memorable moments for customers.
With more than 79,000 employees in the area being surveyed in order for The Chronicle to make just 150 company selections, it’s a privilege to be ranked among the organizations who are leading the way in employee experience. We encourage you to take a moment to view the company rankings and read stories about all the Houston Chronicle Top Workplace winners!
Bridget, Congrats to Venterra and all your employees on receiving recognition as a Top Workplace. It is a privilege to witness a company that not only fosters a free and creative environment, but also has such positive employee feedback. Just another reason to look forward to working with such a company! Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much, Lynn!
