Mary, so far they have had a great experience with Venterra they definitely practice what they preach. I was blessed with the opportunity to engaging in the first step of the interviewing process via Skype. Vanessa was warm and welcoming. I am glad to say, I had a wonderful experience going through an interview on Skype, seeing it was my first time ever. Eastin was very helpful and also extremely informative with all of the companies expectations. It shows a lot of character and organization, which is key. I love the fact Venterra seems like a family. They love giving back to others and showing they not only care, but they act upon caring. While I have to agree with all of you, it is a pleasure to know what is ahead for us in the recruiting process I found it so refreshing to have a recruiter actually respond to it’s applicants as well as give insight and hope to this process that can sometimes break down those of us that otherwise are very strong and qualified. I must go a step further and congratulate the employee view video. Congratulations Juan. The company has given opportunity to hiring from within. And I agree with you, we are always learning and have even more potential to grow right where we are and can stay put to benefit both the company as well as ourselves. Just viewed all the comments and the responses, I am impressed. I loved watching the video on what Venterra has done in the past 7 years for breast cancer awareness. I have to comment on Lynn’s post, about the more mature applicant. I too am older and though I may look 10-12 years younger I allow myself to fear the interviewer may think I need to be put out to pasture. But, with the experience I’ve learned through the industry,nearly 20 yrs., it can be useful to many. I am willing to learn newer and better techniques from a team atmosphere and my superiors.
