Our Annual Leadership Conference is a chance for our Community Managers, Maintenance Managers, and corporate teams to get together to learn, celebrate, mix, mingle, and have a blast! Each year we aim to strengthen and enrich the individuals charged with keeping the company spirit strong across the portfolio.
Venterra Leadership Conference 2020 was held in downtown Houston, TX where our Experience Leaders had a chance to learn and have a great time at the “Level Up”-themed event! Among other topics, areas covered in speeches at the leadership conference this year included maintaining our culture and values during periods of growth, maximizing efficiency through the use of current technology, employee development and retention, and smart home technology. Keynote speaker, Andy Bailey, founder, CEO, and head coach of business coaching firm Petra Coach, inspired our leaders to prioritize their goals and get to work achieving them before signing copies of his latest book, Vitamin B (For Business), for our leaders to take home.
Festivities at the Venterra Leadership Conference also included our annual trade show where crayons and coloring books were collected from attendees for donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, a Manager Appreciation Night at Pitch 25 Beer Park, prize giveaways, the announcement of our 2019 WOW-EE Grand Prize Winner, a downtown Houston bike tour Better Living break, and our 2019 “Of the Region” Maintenance and Community Manager Winners were each gifted a new pair of air pods.
