Service Manager Success StoryI joined Venterra Realty on February 2, 2009 at The Pointe as a Porter/Make Ready. Under the tutelage of Rebecca McNeely, I was able to learn Venterra’s standards and my hard work did not go unnoticed. In 2010, I was recognized as Porter of the Region as well as Porter of the Year for the whole portfolio. It was made quite clear to me, by those awards, that each person’s role is just as important as the next. Venterra’s appreciation for its employees is truly awe-inspiring. In August 2011, I was offered the position of Assistant Maintenance at West End Lodge. The training I had received at the Pointe had made my transition into my new role all the more seamless, and in 2012 I received the Rising Star Assistant Maintenance Award. More recently, in July 2012, Allen Rafieha offered me a promotion to Maintenance Manager. Venterra is consistent with honoring their values. Their willingness to give employees opportunity for growth is truly incredible, and I am lucky to be a part of it.
